MU finalizes Ten Hag's future after being eliminated from the Champions League

According to The Athletic, MU has no intention of firing coach Erik Ten Hag despite the team's poor performance in recent times.

MU still trusts Ten Hag

Coach Ten Hag and MU have experienced a series of bad results recently. In the Premier League, the Red Devils showed an erratic appearance when they lost 7/16 matches since the beginning of the season.

Coming to the Champions League, MU continued to disappoint when it was recently eliminated from the group stage. Even the home team at Old Trafford ranked bottom of the table and did not even have a ticket to play in the Europa League.

Faced with disappointing results, coach Ten Hag's chair at Old Trafford became violently shaky. There have been rumors about the Dutch military leader facing the risk of being fired in the near future.

However, everything was soon clarified. According to The Athletic, MU will not rush to fire the coach born in 1970 in the near future.

The team's board of directors wants more time to evaluate the true capabilities of the 53-year-old strategist. Recently, one of the reasons why MU did not play well was partly due to the injury storm. Since the beginning of the season, coach Ten Hag has rarely had a full team at hand.

Before causing huge disappointment with MU this season, coach Ten Hag left certain marks in his first season at Old Trafford. He and the Red Devils won the Carabao Cup title, reached the FA Cup Final and finished the Premier League in the top 4.
